After 18 years, the 6-player X-Men arcade game is making a comeback on PSN and XBLM. Cyclops, Colossus, Dazzler, Nightcrawler, Storm, and Wolverine set off to take down Magneto and his army of Sentinels. As the X-Men fight through the Sentinels, each player can make use of their unique mutant powers to clear out groups of enemies. Players can drop in and out at anytime and if things ever feel a bit too easy, you can now change up the difficulty. If you're wondering about X-Men's widescreen support, the game will only switch to a wide view if the game is open to drop-in six player sessions. Also, only the PS3 version will allow for offline six-player games; XBox owners are forced to play online if they want to play with friends. A side from the added online mulitplayer the game doesn't seem too different, which if anything is a good thing. By John Stanhope
Something to note about these newly released images is that they are shown with the PEGI rating logo, as opposed to the ESRB rating logo we are used to here in the States, which means it is possible that this may only be the Euro cover art. In case you aren't in the loop about the basic plot of the new Castlevania title coming out this October, here is a short premise. Gabriel Belmont loses his wife Marie at the hands of an elite group of holy knights known as “Brotherhood of Light”. Her soul is now trapped in limbo, and now neither alive nor dead, she guides Gabriel to his destiny to save the world as he investigates a dark spell that has fallen over the land. By John Stanhope
